I found some super cute "Save the Date" ideas, on my new favourite "go-to" place for inspiration, Pinterest.

Magnets and postcards are just not doing it for me anymore for Save the Date notification at weddings.  Why not suggest that your couples add some fun, romance and personality to the planning from the get-go?

Kim Kardashian's Limited Edition Wedding Perfume

Okay, I must admit that I am intrigued...I have watched a few episodes of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and I watched Khloe get married... Now I want to see more of the details of just how Kim made her wedding stand out this past Saturday. A signature perfume was a good start!

*The ceremony will be televised as a two-part special on E! in October.

"LOVE by Kim Kardashian" is a limited edition Wedding Perfume made up of sparkling red currant, pink freesia, star jasmine, Egyptian tuberose, and musk for a romantic and fresh scent.

Packaged in a blinged-out bottle, this perfume bottle is adorned with 450-platinum rock crystals and is sure to impress. Will the scent though?

This collection of perfume started selling at the beginning of August at the official site KimKardashianFragrance.com.

Let your clients know that they could be wearing Kim's signature perfume for their wedding, but they'd better be quick! They made ​​only 1,000 bottles. One for Kim, which she wore on her wedding day just 2 days ago, 200 for a bridal shower and the rest, 799 for sale.

 

Love Spoons...A Welsh Traditional Symbol of Love

Guilty. Yes, I am guilty of being a true, hopeless romantic. I scour and search for items that are different, unique and wildly dreamy. I am so excited to share this finding with you!

This week I have found...Love Spoons. Yes, you may have known about them forever, but I am giddy about finding them!

This beautiful tradition of giving a Love Spoon was started in the 16th century as a sign of affection to a sweetheart.

The Love Spoon had similar meaning to an engagement ring, or when the intended accepted the carved spoon, it signified the beginning of a serious relationship.

Nowadays, it can be given as a gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and birth of a child.

The beauty of it, is that the spoon is carved from one piece of wood, no matter how elaborate the handle may be. So the craftsman needed to be very talented. It became known that the more elaborate the spoon, the more he loved the intended :)

The oldest surviving love spoon, dated 1667, is displayed at the National Folk Museum of Wales, St. Fagan's, Cardiff.

Each symbol has a different meaning, which I just adore!

Macarons! The MacarOn Cafe has most delicious ones we have tried to date, in fact! Yes, they can customize them for your wedding...we checked!

Rose flavoured, Honey and Lavender, Orange Blossom and The Wedding Almond were some of our top picks. Mouth watering, melt-in-your-mouth goodness...

Such a cute store with a ton of charm.

Stunning Hand-Painted Bridal Shoes

A fellow WPICC, Christie Vito from Stellar Events in Ottawa, put me on to this amazingly talented lady and her company, Figgie Shoes.

Deborah Thomson (aka "Figgie") is the mastermind behind this collection and she is from Windsor, ON.

The above photo is the first pair of hand-painted perfection, ever created by Figgie Shoes.   

If you look closely, you can see the special items on the shoes; The place they got engaged, a caricature of themselves and their dog, coffee cups, vintage cameras and motorcycles, etc. which were all items that the bride wanted integrated into the shoes.
